Product description
The 11-piece GSR thread cutter set allows you to cut various sizes of metric internal threads. The set includes various single-cut taps (M3 - M8). Single-cut taps perform the work of hand tap sets in a single cut. The set also includes the matching holding tool (tool holder). For pilot drilling, the set also includes five different core hole twist drills (Ø 2.5 - 6.8). These are precisely tailored to thread sizes M3 - M8.
For a vertical cut, our innovative tap guides can also be used. We also recommend using thread cutting fluid for every hole. This is also available from us (see below).
The single-cut taps and the tool holder included in the set are made of alloyed tool steel (WS).
The included twist drills are made of roll-rolled high-speed steel (HSSR) and are suitable for standard drilling in steels up to 800 N/mm².
